Digital photography is vastly more economical than
film. Woodside Photography might shoot 75 to 150 digital files per
session, giving you a large number of proofs from which to choose.
Please specify if you d like to view proofs
in black and white as well as color, particularly for Options 3
and 4. Digital images are taken in color and converted to black
and white.
For Options 2, 3 and 4, review and discuss with
Mike Woodside different paper styles, borders, cropping, retouching
and other special products and effects after your portrait session
or when ordering prints. It s helpful to see samples in person.
View your proofs via one of the following:
Option 1: Studio Review
Together we set up a time for you to return
to Woodside Photography to review and select the images for your print
order. There, you can review and discuss with Mike the different paper
styles, borders, cropping, retouching and other special products and
effects. Proofs are typically available three to five days after your
session. You can review them in both black and white and color. There
is no charge for reviewing proofs in the studio. |
Option 2: Low-Resolution CD
Woodside Photography supplies a CD containing
low-resolution and watermarked jpeg images in both black and white
and color as desired. The images are copywrited and not for reproduction,
but can be viewed on your computer. A low- resolution CD costs $25
and we can mail it to you within a few days after your session.
Option 3: Online Proofing
Woodside Photography uploads the images from your
shoot for you to review online. Specify in advance if you would
like to see black and white or color proofs. Print orders generated
in this manner must be mailed to Woodside Photography and include
a signature, and payment in full. Online proofing costs $15.
Option 4: Printed Proofs
Given the number of shots taken during a digital
session, printed proofs are the most costly option, but Woodside Photography
can generate them upon request. Specify in advance if you would like
to see black and white as well as color proofs. Proofs are not color
or density-corrected; they re valuable for judging composition
only. Allow two weeks after placing your order to receive proofs.
Printed proofs cost $3 each.
